Phone call based application

hi,
Am doing a j2me phone call based application , where i need to make a telephone call from my application. Say when i dial a number if that particular person is on another call i need to get a response message indication that the dialled number is busy.
can anyone please help me.

actually if he is busy you should already get a indication he is busy (as in a voice telling you so or an acoustic signal)... That you cannot intercept with J2ME though...

This can be done using Mobile Telephony API which is not present currently on Nokia.
You can try searching for this on other oem's.
Mobile Telephony API (MTA) for Java ME may come in future on all J2me devices also -- http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=253

I said that you CANNOT intercept this with j2me
And the indiciation that he is busy, well thats what you hear from the phone itself

Deva, what's your target J2me device platform -- some devices from Motorola - and - Siemens do support Telephony API which can provide methods to manage call and detect if the other side is busy.
