6131 and 6212 jcshell: Error code: 6f00 (No precise diagnosis) for install command

Hi all....
i am trying to install a emv spec cardlet to the 6131 and 6212 phone, but the both of them are not succeeded. I can install the same in JCOP and JMV Pro cards using the same jcop script. The load command is successfull, but my

install |TESTEMVCARD |TESTEMVCARDDEBIT

script returns

<= 6F 00
Status: No precise diagnosis

. what may be the problem.? I don,t have the source of cardlet only the cap file
Please some one help me to solve this problem....

Hallo anishk,

errors during the install method are usually the result of using functionality that is not available on the java card (like invalid op codes, linking libraries/methods that are not available, ...) Thus, if you don't have the sources of the applet it will be difficult/impossible to further debug the problem.

One thing you could check is, if your applet was designed to meet the specifications of the secure element (here):
OS: G&D Sm@rtCafé Expert 3.1
Java Card: Global Platform 2.1.1, Java Card 2.2.1

How to know the targeted OS and Java card versions of the cap file i am having..?

Well, that information might be part of the cardlet's documentation. Else, I guess, the only way would be to ask the manufacturer of the cardlet.
