    Hi,

    I am using widget.openApplication to open in RealPlayer a video from a widget application, and although this works fine in N97 and 5800, on a N8 it doesn't work because it doesn't have Real Plater.

    Does anyone know what the new video application's ID is so I can open it directly?

    thanks.

    Please do remember that N8 is not commercially available, thus any technical details of it (including) its software configurations can not be discussed in public.

    On Nokia N8 (and other Symbian^3 devices) you may want to check out the new On demand Web TV feature:

    But the limitation is On demand Web TV is a template and it supports only flv and f4v file formats.

    Did someone solve the problem...?? I actually can play .flv files with a simple embed tag:

    <embed src="http://domain/myvideo.flv" autostart="false" />

    It's works perfectly, but I need to play .mp4 files, and this code doesn't help to do that...
    Does anybody knows how to play .mp4 files on a S60 application...???

    Thanks in advance...

    Regards... Chelix...
