    there not say uid of internet tel settings as u say previously I'm not sure whether the internet tel settings is a separate applciation, or a plug-in for settings.

    basically if it is a plug-in, then with RApaLsSession you can only run the settings app, and users would need to open the right settings item by themselves. Anyway, another general way on launching application would be launching teh views: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...lication_views

    That of course requires that the target application is using views, and I gotta say that I don't know the actual implementation details of the settings application.

    hows know that internet tel settings is a plug-in b'cz we say definitely its not an app b'cz no uid show in y-task processes?

    Damned, can not remember all stuff all times, anyway, just remembered something, and I'm now assuming that application-specific-settings shown in the settings applications are done suing the settings framework: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph..._Framework_API, anyway, never used that, but just an link you could investigate more.

    now i check in E71 truphone app for voip(given also in wikki).after installing they create automatically one sip sprofile and second they create programatically one profile in Internet Tel Settings.
    i suppose that API uses for creating sip are not public so they partner/paid use.but i stuck again how they creating profile programatically inside Internet tel Settings???i ask where sir abt this???

    Exactly, Local Provisioing is one way. Still, you can do the same via OMA CP or OMA DS as well.

    Does this help? If you target older releases, does this help? Furthermore, to be queried for username/password, use an empty password and within PUID just enter your domain and no user part: @example.com.
