Add UI design to exting non UI design project

I am using zxingbarcodedecoder project.
I want to add UI design forms to this project.

Which is the preferable way to to this.
Create new S60 UI design project or add s60 UI design to exiting non ui project.

When I add new UI design to existing project I am getting error
ZXingBarcodeReader.rsg no such file.
EZXingBarcodeReaderContainerViewId not declared.

EZXingBarcodeReaderContainerViewId is something what should appear in the .hrh file. Then the .rss may compile and the .rsg may get generated.
