Why doesn't Nokia make "apps store" for S40 devices like apple did for Iphone?

Why doesn't Nokia make "apps store" for S40 like apple did for Iphone? It's very difficult for me to find suitable apps for my phone.

And Nokia has actually made two "app stores" already for Series 40.

The old one was called "Download!" and before that it was called "Catalogs". It was preinstalled/preloaded on many Series 40 models in many countries (even years before Apple invented the iPhone).

After Ovi Store was launched, also Ovi Store has been available for Series 40 devices, and you can either use the Series 40 phone's browser to go to http://store.ovi.mobi or on newer models use the Ovi Store link/icon already on the device.

In other words, you're request has already been catered for. Note, though, that if you have an operator customized/locked Series 40 phone, the operator may have required Nokia to remove Download! and/or Ovi Store before accepting the device. On those devices, try connecting to Ovi Store using the browser.
