Enumeratedpopup text event not working on device

I create enumerated pop up text , binary pop text.
I can select option from this on emulator , but if i take application on device list does not get open and no any event occured.

I set capability to User Environment and SwEvent , but application does not get installed saying
Requested application not granted.

What r the required steps to enable UI design controls events on device . Please reply.

it should not require any capability really. with "but if i take application on device list does not get open and no any event occured." do you mean that the application does not open on a device at all ?, if so then I would suggest checking the panic code, since most likely it is crashing on the start-up: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ded_panic_code

if i set capability to swevent application does not get installed.
If i set capability to only Use Environment then application get installed but event on Enumerated text and Binary popup text do not occured.
This is working on emulator . But on device events do not occured.

You should not need any specific capability to get a normal settings list working, so it is most likely not related to capabilities. Thus I would suppose there is something wrong with the code you have written. Wiki page would have a full exmaple for a settings list: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/Settings_Lists (see the link on near the bottom of that page), also maybe you could show the Cpp file for the settings list.
