Utilizing the standard menu buttons

Hi all

Can anyone please tell me how I can utilize the standard menu buttons at the bottom of the cellphone screen in Symbian. The right-hand button is already used for the Exit button, but I would like to use the left-hand one as a menu button. How do I set this up and add items to the menu??

Unfortunately, you cannot use the three inner CBA buttons.
