Long thread parts

I wanted to suggest a solution for a problem which has caused unrest in threads like here:

Why are we limited to 10k chars when posting?

And man invented the Wiki... 10k posts just vanish in the DiBo in the same way as 10-word posts do, so if you have already put some larger stuff together, you could copy it into a Wiki article with the same effort. Repeat it frequently enough, and you can unlock an other achievement, "Wiki Contributor of the Month"

There is no such bug which lasts for 2-300 lines... Man also invented the debugger, for reducing the number of affected lines to 10-20.

What should I add here. I could show you one case there the code was so long...but I understand and will have to learn the laws of Wiki one day .

Hi Wizard,
if this thread serves but one purpose, it gets us a nice amount of posts. And given that I was idle for a year after registering, I need posts anyways .

Jokes aside: I would have been happy about uppoing the limitation. But you are right, the limit will always be there somewhere. Plus, I was taught recently about the attach file tool...so I am happy again!
