Infra-Red (IR) connection

I have a 7250 Nokia phone, my friends have Sony Ericsson t68's, they can transfer Pictures to each others phone via IR, why can't the 7250 do this ?

I can only transfer to PC, surely I don't have to pay 35p/40p each time to send over MMS to do mobile to mobile.

Any firmware updates etc

I hoped there was a solution with j2me... but it seems it isn't supported... yet.

i think this s/w for 7250 is so ShiX...cannot send image via infared.

hope the nokia will do the upgrade patch.
