About Launchpad, Developer account registration never gets processed!

Hi Nokia Expert,

We submitted an application for nokia developer account 10 days ago, but from then on it always tells us "There is an existing membership application already for this program. The applicant will be notified by e-mail once the membership application has been reviewed. ", seems this application is never reviewed and processed. I heard that Nokia have a guarantee that this process would take only 1~2 days, so could you experts tell us what's going on here? Is there anything wrong?

We need a developer account to request an API-Partnering case, so we did the same as above 13 days ago using another nokia forum account. But we found that we have used a wrong forum account which is owned by one of our developers. Though the application(for developer account registration) had been reviewed and developer account was created, we had to abandon that developer account and used a new Nokia forum account which is owned by our company to resubmit an application for nokia developer account. But this time something goes wrong, it hasn't been processed for more than 10 days.

It's urgent, please help us.

I'm assuming all is well now, got internal reply that the application has now been processed, sorry about the delays.

I'll add that I've been waiting for Launchpad since Feb!! ...

And there's been no response yet - just a notice that says it's being processed.
While I'd love to explore the Nokia Symbian+MS WinPhone world, simple things like taking 9?!? months to clear out applications through their internal system is simply showing developers that Nokia doesn't care! In the meantime, Apple's always responsive and at least there's been app dev progress on that front.

(Not to mention, 50.x FW was announced for the 5230 series, and my Nuron 5230 has yet to see light of day on this.... Both MS & Apple push out updates to all recent phones in a more reliable manner.)

You should have been processed by launch pad if you requested admitance in January. They did notifiy those that were denied. CC me when you write to the nokia.developer.launchpad@nokia.com requesting information on your application.

So is it safe to assume that the average wait time for applications to be processed is 1~2 days? I've just applied a couple of days ago for an individual membership but at the moment my request isn't urgent. Though i would like to know roughly how long it should take.

Been waiting for mine for at least a couple of months. In the meantime, I set up an ios account and there is already an app accepted into the store. Nokia is so big outside of the US; this is unfortunate.

Note that you were waiting for the wrong membership then. For distributing applications in the Ovi Store, it is enough to have an Ovi publisher account, as described in "Distribute" above, "Ovi Store guidelines".

Hello, is there any estimation when request will be approved/rejected? I submitted my application about half year ago and still no response.

Usually the review time is 2-3 days, however the person doing the review was temporarily assigned a different task and now there is an un-official Finnish holiday week, so most applications will not be completed until next week.

I apologize for the delays and ask your patience.
