Hello List,

I have a question about Open Signed Online for application signing.
I have built my project for Phone Debug (GCCE ) [S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v1.0] configuration.
Inside the sis folder I see two files generated:
.sis
.sisx
I took a look at previous threads, and my understanding is that .sisx is a self-signed version of .sis generated by Carbide.
I have the following questions:
1. Can I use the .sisx file generated by Carbide for testing on the device? I am not intending to use any capabilities other than those included in Open Signed.
2. If not, when I upload the SIS file for my application for OPen Signed Online, which file should I upload, the .sis file or the .sisx file?

Basically with self-signing, you can only use Capabilities allowed for Self-signing, they are much lower set of capabilities than the ones for Open signed. Anyway, if you have publicer ID, you can get developer certificate from Open signed off-line and use it with carbide.

And if you can not have developer certificate, then you must use the completely non-signed sis for signing with Open signed on-line.
