Using same UID for demo and full app?

Hi all!
I have my app in OVi store, and now I would like to make a demo version. Am I allowed to use the same UID with full version? I expect in this case if user bought full version after demo it will be automatic upgrade, doesnt it?

I think there should not be any restrictions on that one. Basically it would be an easy way to also make sure that these two versions can not be installed into a same device. anyway, make sure by testing it well that the re-installation of different versions to replace previous installation will work in all target devices.

Official answer: "Moving forward we are asking that all content items have different UIDs, even though they are same and one is paid and one is free".

And now with this fact I has a problem with changing UID for a demo version of my app. Please see this post.
