install 2 sis (or sisx) files together

Hi..

i have a UI application and a EXE application. i have to install both together

i added exe inside the UI (inthe UIAPP.pkg)

@"EXEAPP.sis",(0xE1C26B48)

but, exe application not working properly.

how can i install these two application together?

What do you mean that it is not working properly ?

Also you could just combine the files from two pkg into a one, then you would also need to sign only one sis instead of two.

follow the fix shown below, basically autostart from embedded sis is not working.

i embedded UI application inside EXE application, then it is working.

your solution is also great

if somone delete UI app, EXE app should not be deleted. wthat will happen in my case?

before sigining EXE app, i have to sign UI app. am i correct?

the only way on deleting the app is to uninstall it, and the of course all parts of the sis file are uninstalled. That same thing would happen in most cases with embedded sis file. if you want to get it to be separately uninstallable, then have the exe-sis included as a content file inside your pkg file, and install it when your application is run first time on a device. anyway users can uninstall it separately from the application manager still
