Delay when playing audio file with CMdaAudioPlayerUtility

hi

i want to play DTMF tone when a key is pressed.
i load the file before plaing it.
but when i start playing i get about 0.5 sec delay before it start to play.
i head the mic playing background noise in that 0.5 sec.

Why would you play files as a DTMF, the actual thing is that the audio you here is local, and the receiver gets the signal through the signaling involved with DTMF.

I need to give also local notification about key press etc..

you could maybe try just tone player, it should be fast. Also do use the CTElephony API for DTMF sending, then you should get the actual DTMF signaling there.

this is voip app si the sending is covered.

I emans the CMdaAudioToneUtility.
