How to play a specific audio file like alarm

Hello All,

I want to play a specific audio file from application but audio player will not display. just like alarm play. that audio file will be in application itself. So, when application will install on device that audio file will also available.

How can I implement this.

You would just add the audio file into the pkg file, so it would be included in the sis file. You should propably put it into your own private directory, so users would not be able to accidentally delete it.

mbm is for image files, audio files you would just handle as they are, no conversion required, unless you are trying to use some format/codec that is not supported by the device you are trying to play the audio in.

Basically check the pkg format docs from the SDK help. You just add a line specifying the source file, and the destination in the device.
