hi,

i found an impending problem with my nokia 5230. Very recently i was in a computer lab, with my phone. When my phone went near the CPU of the computer, whole charge got drained off and my mobile got switched off. I confirmed through a friend of mine that he had also experienced the same problem.Hope to get the best solution for my problem.

You can always carry your phone device to the nearest Nokia Care point for a proper check, if you suspect there is something wrong with it. Even though symbianjucca already gave the best advice to continue discussion in your case, I would like to add something here.

Quickly evaluated, there is no clear logical reason why your phones battery would drain when taking it close to a computer case, or the CPU itself. What I could guess is, hat it might be your battery was already almost empty, and maybe by chance e.g. it connected to network, ran some applications front or background that were exhausting the rest of the battery energy somewhat suddenly.
