New to NFC: Microcontrollers?

Hi,

I'm new to NFC technology and stuided microprocessors in my grad school.

I'm trying to understand how microprocessors/microcontrollers come in for NFC.

Anyone has a good link or document that can give me a good introductorory explanation? or at-expert-level explanation is fine too.

What I am curious are following

-How would MCU be talking to NFC's interface
-How vendors determine what types of MCU for their NFC chip
-What exactly is MCU's role for NFC chip
-anything related to MCU/NFC/SoC and so on.

you might also want to take a look at the datasheet of typical NFC transceivers and controllers (e.g. from NXP).
