Nokia N8 accelerometer trouble

Hi...i've been using N8 since 3 weeks..and suddenly from few days..the accelerometer stopped responding...

sensor settings are ON...and sensor control is to turn UI to landscape...but it doesn't work.. turning it to landscape still shows portrait..
accelrometer related apps such as Galaxy on Fire, NFS shift and Anglemeter..show variations like

in AngleMeter when in Landscape it shows 50 degree angle and in portrait it shows ~95 degree

in NFS shift..even if i tilt it to Right side...the car continuosly sticks to left...

in Galaxy on fire..i calibrated it..then too it doesn't work same as NFS shift...

Plzzz help with it...im fed up of it...the phone always sticks to either Landscape mode or portrait.!!!!...
