    Hi there,

    I try to sign the new version of my application (FExplorer), I have added a new tool to allow users to ping an ip address or hostname (very usefull), therefore I need a new capability : NetworkControl but the app has been refused with the following message :
    Code:
    Application is rejected:
    The application is rejected because the application uses the capability NetworkControl, but the API(s) used for this capability are not disclosed in the declarative statement. This must be done in the 2nd input box of the declarative step. It is required that the capability usage must disclose the API(s) being used for each of the declared Capabilities.
    Can you please, indicate to me what must I do ? must I send part of code used ? must I remove this new feature (this would be very stupid and counter-productive !!) ?

    it's very urgent,
    thanks a lot,
    Domi.

    I am also interested in this problem.
    Where can I find a list of APIs that require the NetworkControl capability?

    Hi,
    just paste them the entire source code of the function into the field and they should STFU.

    Actually you should simply identify the API, and the use case for it, no need to try getting them pissed off by adding huge amounts of stuff there.

    Hi Yucca,
    the problem is that he apparently does not know which API is the relevant one.

    I meant to tell them what the app does and then the source code below. If you ask me personally, the check goes like this:
    if(len>0)
    if(!garbage)
    pass_app()
