How to retrieve network time ?

Hi All,

In my Symbian 3rd edition application, I have to retrieve the time provided by network (Service provider / cell id). Is there any APIs available to retrieve it.

Is there any way by which we can retrive the time other than retriving from mobile... bcoz If User changes the current time of mobile then we will get the invalid time. So I want to get the valid time irrespective of time set in mobile..

Any pointer regarding this will be highly appreciated..

I searched but haven't found any Symbian API to retrieve time from network. If any one has already worked on it, Could you please help me...

Same answer as before: Use NTP ( http://www.ntp.org/ ). No direct API, but I presume that the protocol is not difficult, and that there are examples around: http://www.google.com/codesearch
