In desperation i've turned to this board for help with a really esoteric problem ....
A once-working SIP configuration now fails to make an outgoing 'net call' for destination numbers longer than 8-digits. Numbers of 8-digits or less work perfectly.
Any attempt to call numbers greater then 8-digits in length, whether from the contacts list or manually entered, just causes the dialer to hang forever. There is no sign of life at the sip server and nothing makes it into the E52 error log.
This wasn't always the case and i can only put the situation down to an installation (and now subsequent removal) of Skype. I wonder has skype attempted to hijack the standard 'net call' feature and then broken it?
Even in the advanced SIP settings i can find nothing to adjust the outgoing number pattern, length or format. Likewise, i've searched in vain to find anyone with a similar problem.
Any ideas? Where do i turn next to report a possible bug - either in the S60 SIP software or, possibly Skype.
