Prompting the user

Hello,

I am developing a telephony application with an internal database consisting of the following two items per entry:
1. A E164 number to dial
2. A SIP URI corresponding to the number (in other words, a URI)

I would want to implement the User Interface in such a way, that when the user selects the menu option to dial a call, he should be prompted for the number and the URI in succession.
Also, I would like to have a confirmation prompt for each entry made by the user.

I already have the .rss file created for the menu list and it has been tested.

How can I add the prompts to the same?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

have you searched for CAknQueryDialog. ALso you must be handling the the various menu commands in your UI, so on any command event you can show the query dialog , with the text(query) which you like. For e..g you can show: Dial +848493030303 ? on the dialog

Thanks. I checked CAknQueryDialog before. But from the description and the methods, I got the impression the class interface did not support querying (prompting) the user, and then collecting the user input. For example, in my use case, I need to prompt the user for input and then store the input in my code space.

Is there any sample code which demonstrates the above use case? I would appreciate it if you or anyone else could point me to the same.
