nokia e7 touch screen + keyboard at the same time

Hi all.
I couldn't see a devices subforum, so pardon if this is not the right forum to ask
I have an idea for an app on the new E7 phone, which would involve using the touch screen and keyboard at the same time. Is that possible? or do they block each other ir some way. My early tests seem to point in that direction (the keyboard blocks the touch screen and viceversa), but I wanted to double check before abandoning the idea.

I'm quite new to the nokia dev ecosystem so if there is some place where I can look up those facts I'd be happy to receive pointers in the right direction.

When the user opens the keyboard at that time touch screen won't sensitive......

But it's not true for all application...

However you can make application of your choice....

Yes both touchscreen and keyboard work at the same time. But of course many applications don't support this as pressing them at the same time is difficult

You can try this with other devices with both touchscreen and keyboard already.. such as N97 and C6.

I already have everything setup and am developing, I don't mind if its not responsive when I open, but my problem is if it's already opened. If I press a key, the touch screen stops responding, and viceversa.
My main question is not software related, it is: Is that a known hardware issue?

But you can control screen using the programming.....

Means you can control the hardware by software....

you can`t use both at a same time. But you can change the interfacing between them.
