questions on publish a QT app on Ovi Store

Hi all,
what is the average time elapsed between the signing of application and the "effective" publication? It's possible to buy the application directly after the publication (without other costs for the distributor)? What is the time of this steps in the last case?

It was around 1 week some days (provided there were no problem in the app or something similar) ago but now it is more than 1 week for sure since there are many apps are being published.

What is the costs of entire "lifecycle" app publication?

I need
a) a publsher id ( Express)
b) a cost for signing a single app
c) a cost for publishing a single app

Hi,
if you are willing to use Nokia Sigjned (which I will do from now on, as Qt apps cannot be sold in operator stores without _PAIN_), the cost is 0.

You send them the file and they toil off on your expense.

Hi Tam,
What _PAIN_ have you experianced in other stores with Qt apps?
I found that creating 2 content items worked well on stores other then OVI. One with the smart installer for Nokia phones and one without for "non Nokia phones". Or did you have a different issue?

Hi Jon,
my issue was that I wanted to release my BallZ game onto the operator store of an operator. This operator has a rule that all traffic in its network store is free.

Now, my app was downloaded from the Store. However, it started to download apps from a Nokia server, and this data was billed. Users were unhappy about the 10MB bill they got for the app they already bought in the store.

Essentially, I was told that the only thing I can do is bundle the Qt in a way that it gets installed by my SIS file in one go. And AFAIK chaining the Qt_Installer.sis causes the user to have to decide two times where he wants to install the app
