    Hi

i wanted to know for nokia devices as low battery notification comes which event is getting called.
As this is handled by firmware.
for nokia 2730classic for my game as soon as low battery notification comes in game sound is getting lost.
to resolve this i need to call hidenotify()/ pause. for other nokia devices with latest firmware hidenotify() is called by firmware itself as soon as low battery interrupt comes.i am lacking this feature in nokia 2730c firmware.
so if its not provided by firmware i need to code it in j2me.
So plz reply soon if anybody have an idea.

hidenotify can be called for many reasons, so you might not reliably know if low battery situation is currently happening

I do not think that there is a reliable way to get the low battery warning from the system in Java ME - I might be wrong though....
There is a system property to get that information on S60 devices (see here http://library.forum.nokia.com/topic...B925CF670.html) but that system property is not available on the Series 40 phones

    Hi

It's not possible to get the battery info in j2me s40, and i don't think hide notify call will help you much, in fact it might be called many times - not only in low battery

this System property "com.nokia.mid. battery level " is not just sufficient as low battery notification will come at any time as battery goes weaker. It will come multiple times.
we should know when exactly its coming so that accordingly we can put condition to call pause/hidenotify.
