Interfacing to Nokia usb modem

Hi,

Hope this is the correct board for this.

I'm trying to use a Nokia E5-00 as a microsoft windows usb modem. It is connected to the pc using a usb cable, and a dial up connection has been set up within Windows Vista. However when I tell Windows to make this connection, it fails. Additionally, when I use the Windows API call "RasDial" to make this connection, it fails with error 777 The connection attempt failed because the modem (or other connecting device) on the remote computer is out of order.

Nokia Ovi suite is installed on the pc, but the same error is displayed regardless if OviSuite is open or closed.

Is it possible to use the E5-00 as a usb modem?

Note - I tried the phone in "PC Suite" mode. In the other modes, the USB modem is not available within Windows.

The USB modem is "Nokia E5-00 USB Modem" version 7.1.32.57, hardware ID is NMWCD\VID_0421&PID_0380&Cdc_Modem
