Cannot edit style sheet in Carbide.c++

Hi,

I place a button on the Qt designer.
Right-click the button and select "Change Stylesheet..."
in the Edit Style Sheet dialog, I add a color using the "Add Color" button
"rgb(255, 180, 0)" added to the text area
"invalid style sheet" in red at the bottom and OK button is disabled???

Any idea? Please help!

Type "QPushButton{", press "Add Color" and select your color, then type "}".

Hi,

Thanks for the response, but that did not work for me. I did not see the new color at design time nor at run time.

It did let me save it, so I am assuming the syntax is ok.

Any other ideas?

Well, you should consult the documentation for those attributes you actually can set in a style sheet. I don't know that color, as applied to a whole button, means anything.
