problem in running the application in mob

hello im running my application in mob....which is working fine in the emulator....whn i run in the mobile its working fine for 10 to 15 min n stops after tat...how can i find the reason for it??? is log files efficient to find??? bcz whn an application stops some where without running the full application can be found using logs... but whn an application runs for some time n then exits so how can i find it??? how can u fix the bug........ thanks for any replies.......

If "stops" means that the application suddenly exits, getting the panic code is certainly a good idea (http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ded_panic_code)
You will probably need to add some logging to your code, but knowing the panic may help to decide where to start.

wizard thanks for ur reply....actually my application runs in emulator more than an hour.... and after tat it stops in the emulator with the intimation memoryfull close some application n run again.....im using s60 fp2.... wat im trying to do is reading the inbox and save the messages to the database... it runs for some time n ends with memoryfull close some application...after an hour

in device it exits in 10 min....after storing 8 msgs in database it exits...im using n73... i ran multiple times in my device it stops at the same point.. store only 8 msgs in the db....

this is wat happennin in emulator n device wizard....... thanks for any replies........

i have already added the errrd file in c:resourse wizard...... im not getting any panic in the device wizard... im getting only in the emulator...

On the device, you should create a zero-sized file ErrRd (no file name extension) under the directory c:\resource\. You can use a file explorer application (for instance, YBrowser)

im trying to use hookloger for einding the memory leak..........but whn i start the emulator it shows the following error

HooK logger: unhooked emulators found

one(or more) new processes appear to be symbian os emulators but havent connected to hook loger:

its askin to install it correctly n relaunch the hookloger....but i checked the path it doesn;t contain any spaces in between....how to fix this prob??? thanks for any help.....
