Hi,
I have devloped a GPS based application.
It working great. But on a real device, the device displays an alert for confirmation each time the application using the -

LocationProvider.getInstance(cr);

How can I remove this annoying message?

I think you already know the answer... signing might help you remove the prompt. Or it might not. No guarantees.

There is no guaranteed way to eliminate the security prompts. Depending on device, signing might enable the option for the user to switch the prompts off, and/or change the default option to "ask once" rather than "ask each time". Actual results will depend on device.

Note that signing may prevent the application from installing on some devices.
