No Rule To make Target error while trying to build for Target device.

I'm getting this error while trying to build sis for 'Phone Debug Release(ARMV5)'. It builds fine for emulator.

No rule to make target `\S60\devices\S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v1.0\EPOC32\BUILD\S60\devices\S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v1.0\MyServer\Development\MobileServer\Symbian\Samples\group\build\S60SERVERHEADLESS\ARMV5\SERVERHEADLESS.ARMV5'

Wanted to know, how is this .armv5 files are created. My Project contains couple of Plugin code, for the rest of the part the .armv5 and .winscw files are created. But for this particular only the folder is created not the contents.

This files are self generated and might be some error from my end is manifested this way But could not find the root or reason. Any clue, suggestions if highly appreciated. Looking forward for them.

Compare bld.inf-s of your other project and this problematic one. The solution is in PRJ_PLATFORMS. You can either try commenting it, or when it exists, make sure that it contains ARMV5 as supported platform.

Here's my corresponding bld.inf file...it was DEFAULT before, i changed it to WINSCW ARMV5 GCCE. But still I happen to get d same error.

You may have to clean the project first (or remove the makefiles from epoc32\BUILD\<path to your project> manually).
