I've read several threads on similar problems but they appear to be old, perhaps some of the web resources have changed.

When I input my correct username and password, the installer returns an error:
Code:
Unable to connect to registration server. Please check your proxy settings and internet connection. If these are OK please try again later. Error details: Username and password pair does not match.
- connection is correct, and there is no proxy
- I tried last night, and again this morning
- username and password are correct, the same credentials I have used to sign into the forum

any ideas? I can't find a page with a serial number request form either, and links from previous posts have not resolved.
