My first QT App just got published to OVI Store

Two months ago I submitted for publish my first QT App. Today it’s live.

Wow! It took a long time - 2 months!

Yes it takes far too long, I'm months waiting to get mine published. Ovi is not in the same league as the iPhone and Android stores and treating developers who give up their free time to develop for the platform like this makes it seem certain that the Ovi store will wither away along with the Symbian platform. I hate to be so negative but like others I spent a lot of my free time to develop an app for this platform and it has taken even more time jumping through hoops for the Ovi store than it has to develop the app, on top of this the app sits in the QA queue for weeks before being look at and then if even the slightest correction is required (e.g. metadata) it goes back to the start of the queue and sits in the queue for another couple of weeks.
