    Hi,

I would like to download video/audio files in 3GP format from a RTSP link (rtsp://[server ip]/file.3gp). Is that possible? All the examples I have seen so far are for HTTP.

The default Symbian player save the link, but not the file. Is there any way to get the content from this type of link?

Thanks so much for your help!

The whole point about streaming is you aren't supposed to be able to save the content! Of course it is possible but not with the public APIs. You'd have to write your own RTSP code (or borrow the RTSP code from the platform) and build your own app to save to a file rather than playing.

Sure - the Symbian platform source code. It's still open source, you can get it via FTP if you email and ask for details.

Considering the content of the original request, I don't think I'll be any more specific about where to look in the code.

I got the source code but where do I find the RTSP example?
