    Hi !
I'm using QT (2010.02.1, 4.6.2) & (S60_3rd_FP2_SDK_v1.1, S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v1.0) to write one simple app. Not use Carbide.
I want to use the camera in my phone (N82).
    I download Mobile_extensions_preview_1, Mobile_extensions_preview_2 and Mobile_extensions_preview_2
And use the example in it. I build no error, but it can't run on my device.
    Everyone know, please help me.
    Thanks

have you installed the mobile extension dlls on your device.

Note the Mobile Extensions are depriciated. and it is advised that you use Qt Mobility APIs

This post should be on the Qt for Symbian board, or the Qt Mobility board. :-)

Try to read this mine article:

    http://www.negusweb.it/wiki/%28Engli...Qt_Mobility%29

There are a complete project to download and test.

It uses directly Camera Api (without CameraWrapper).

Thanks been searching for something like this haven't tested it completely though.

When I built the app (sis) file and copied on to my 5800 it prompts that QT Component is missing, I want to make a single installer without using SDK to install QT separately for me how do i do that? As I would like to distribute the app on my own before publishing it on ovi store

Another big issue is QT 1.1.2 no longer supports S60 3rd edition, as there are quite a huge number of devices still using it.
