I have a Java application in a normal web server and a wml file that can be used to download that app but when I try to download the app (select the link to the jad-file) my phone (3510i) opens it but doesn't download it. It just opens it in a text mode like it would be just a normal text file. Jpg and mid files work okay and I think the MIME setttings are right. So what should I do to solve this problem?

Just to know if the problem lies on the server's or on the client's side, have you tried downloading a midlet from a different site, for example :
http://midlet.org/repository/spruce/httpgetter/SpruceHTTPgetter.jad
?
(I just tried this one and it worked on my Nokia 7650).

Oops, I changed the MIME settings a while ago because downloading didn't work and I didn't remember to try them with my phone. Now when I tried to download files from my site it worked fine. I'm sorry wasted your time. Thanks anyway!
