How to update an app to a new version?

Hello

My app is already published and I have now developped a new version.
How to publish this new version on the ovi store and replace the old version?

10 days back, I went into "Content > Content Items > Conent Files > Edit File" and I uploaded my new version in "General Content File Metadata > SIS(X) file". However it turns out that QA actually still evaluated and published the initial version instead of the new version.

So how should I update my app? Should I create a "New content item" instead of editing the file?

AFAIK, you tried to do it the right way. That's how I updated my file and it worked fine. When did it pass the QA? I'm asking this because i takes some time before they replace the actual file in OVI store.

P.S. You remembered to click save save when you uploaded the new file?

No, the old version remains in the store until the new one it passes the QA and gets published.

Thanks a lot for your advices jetrix74. The app is now successfully updated on the ovi store. I suspect I did forget the [Save] button during my first attempt
