    Hi all...

    When I try to upload the QT for symbian signing.

    I am getting the following error

    Unauthorized UID/SID: e123abcd, e123abcd. Check that all the UIDs used in your SIS (including the UID used in your .pkg) file correspond to those allocated to you by Symbian from www.symbiansigned.com.

    But I see I have used all the UIDS from my account..

    I am using the additional launcher exe.. for Autodtart as below in package

    "/NokiaQtSDK/Symbian/SDK/epoc32/release/$(PLATFORM)/$(TARGET)/as_s60launcher.exe" - "c:\sys\bin\as.exe"

    This as.exe also needs to have the UID from the account..??

    Thanks,
    Chintan

    Yep, the launcher needs to use one of your Symbian-provided UIDs.

    and also the UID needs to be on the protected range, as well as it must be reserved by the symbian signed account you are using for the signings as well.

    Thanks all for the reply...

    Even though the launcher app is given the UID from the protected range..
    I am getting the same error

    Unauthorized UID/SID: e123abcd, e123abcd. Check that all the UIDs used in your SIS (including the UID used in your .pkg) file correspond to those allocated to you by Symbian from www.symbiansigned.com.

    I see one more thing in the package file

    (0x2002AC89), 1, 0, 2, {"QtMobility"}

    is this also needs to be given UID from protected range??

    I assume that it's not actually reporting "e123abcd", but rather some other value.
