Qt Network library performance

Hi ,

I am sending an https request over gprs (using QNetworkAccessManager) which is taking approx 5-10 seconds to complete. to enhance performance of my code
I am searching for a performance comparison of Qt network library vs. native calls or other libraries.
any ideas?

What are you uploading, a QIODevice or a QByteArray?

Please note that Qt 4.8 will hopefully bring a threaded QNetworkAccessManager and new Qt-internal socket code. This alone should bring more performance for you.
