Facebook, Twitter or Barcode API Support in Qt for Symbian/Maemo ?

I want to use following APIs in my application:
1) Facebook API for sharing something
2) Twitter API for tweeting something
3) Barcode API for scanning barcode

For iPhone and Android these are already available like FBConnect and ZXing APIs.

Kindly looking forward for any help regarding these api availability for Qt Framework for Symbian/Meamo

Actually, I was on some other areas on Qt, but use of FB, TW and Barcode API is my app requirement, I will explore these topics later, Whenever I start on these I'll get back in this post with updates.

Till then Keep Exploring on your end & update this post if you have something fruitful info.

There is a generic Facebook "Graph API" that makes access to many Facebook functions fairly easy to code, even without canned APIs specific to the hardware -- it's largely a matter of just coding the right URLs.

yes and just to add on top of that check QQrDecoder at forum nokia wiki which has an example too on how to use Barcode Reader APIs in Qt.

The Graph API you are talking about is not relates to symbian....if you have some reference links for using Graphs API inside symbian app...it will be really helpful for me....

There is no Graph API for Symbian, the Graph API is for Facebook , you need to write a client for consuming the graphn Api for Symbian, i am not sure if any examples exist there but definitely its very easy to do.

Alternatively if you want to FB client written in Qt try this http://gitorious.org/qfacebook.

The Facebook Graph API is a generic API -- for the most part it's driven by the URL you code, and essentially any system that can do HTTP GET/PUT can access it. There are "helper" libraries for iPhone and Android, but they do not need to be used to access the Graph API.

The only particularly complicated part is the authorization stuff.

Authentication on MeeGo is done trough MeeGo SSO lib. . Take a look at [1] for more info.
FB will be supported for sure.. even if it's not mentioned on that page.

Thanks guys for your valuable inputs.........But still didn't got the cleared idea for moving ahead with this problem resolving.

I am gone through the QFaceBook apllication too....it uses the QT facebook api's, but the question how can we port this app library to be used inside the symbian app.

Agrred that the Facebook Graph API is a generic API and i have checked the facebook API section, which gives demo using Graph API in iPhone/Android, but no idea in case of symbian.

Overall...no idea to proceed 1 step ahead with facebook/twitter invocation in symbian app.

Please give me a more brief and clear idea about this.
