Need help in selecting phone for testing purpose

Hi all,

I am developing an application for mobile devices that support Java applications.
I am developing this application for mobile devices in India. I would like to know which basic mobile model ( Nokia (non-touch) or other device (non-touch)) is best suited for testing the application developed on J2ME so that I can be asure that the app works on all other high end phones that support Java .

I have to say, that there's probably no single phone model that you could use, that guarantees that what works on that phone, will work on all other high-end phones with Java support (not even if you target just Nokia's current high-end phones).
