C3-00 JSR234

I am a scientist and developing a camera based application in j2me, I need full control over camera functions including macro and flash control but till recent I was unable to find such a pone (in my budget). The recent Nokia C3-00 specifications were a relief but I am yet not planning to buy one because I am not sure if implementation is full or partial.

Nokia device specification mentions that it supports JSR234 -AMMS 1.1 (camera control). Have anyone experienced with following functions and any luck?

Focus Functions:
setFocus()
setMacro()

Resolution & Exposure:
setExposureMode()
setStillResolution()
setVideoResolution()
setExposureCompensation()
setExposureTime()
setFStop()
setISO()
setLightMetering()

Zooming:
setDigitalZoom()
setOpticalZoom()

Integrated Flash:
isFlashReady()
setMode()

Please go through the http://library.forum.nokia.com/ . In this your left hand side there is a search option in that type JSR-234 You will get the API's as well as the examples how to use these methods.

Thanks Bhanu, but the posted link is not working and my question is how to be sure about which phone will work with the desired apis... let me elaborate with example, The Nokia C3-00 specs mention under the API tag that it supports focus control amms api, but in actual (with builtin camera facility ) it does not support the focus - so definitely the user app will not be able to use the same function from java app.

I got your point . You can try the forum nokia RDA service . And test your application in wide range of phones then by that one , It is a free service .
