OVI Maps 3.06 location sms - how to decode?

The latest ovi maps (3.06) can send location data through sms, for example:

http://m.ovi.me/BGcCpFP_tAeI?z=17&hc

In my application, I need to decode this information to turn it into a (latitude, longitude) data pair.
How do I go about this? I mean, what is the decoding algorithm?

Well, I've been there.

The format of the location sms is not described there. The link in that sms very obviously contains an encoded representation of the geographical coordinates.

And there is no explanation (that I can see) of how it is encoded.

I desperately need the encoding algorithm though. Any help warmly appreciated.

if it is not there, then I would assume that it is not made public for some reason.
