sis and sisx package type

What are the differences between the package types? searching the doc lead to nothing.

all i found out, that there are the following package types:
Installation (SA)
Augmentation (SP)
Partial upgrade (PU)
Installation, ROM upgrade (SA, RU)
Preinstalled app (PA)
Preinstalled patch (PP)

What are those types and what are the technical differences?

You know the name of something, and also abbreviations, they can be easily used for searching either in the SDK Documentation (it seems to be fine, I have just checked), or in the on-line library, http://library.forum.nokia.com
