Application / New - OVI Search Criteria

Hello, my app was published last March, 9th.
After that I could find it using its tags or name.
But when I selected "Application / New" it was not listed.
I patiently pressed "next" button until the OVI client crashed, and no sign of my app.

Then I moved to the web client... 200 pages +... nothing!

I don't expect my app to be the top seller, but if nobody knows it's there, how I'm supposed to sell it?

Does anyone else noticed that problem?

There are some problems with the Ovi client at the moment. (the rankings are not updating, obviously new apps don't show up on the lists, etc.) I believe that it is related to the same problem that affects to the reporting tool (reporting doesn't work at the moment). I think it will show up on the new apps list once they fix the problem...

Beside that, now in Ovi Store there isn't a mechanism to randomize apps. It would assure that each app has got equal chance to find and download.

OK. I hope the publisher team fix this issue.
I'll use this spare time to get used to a different programming syntax...

I talked about this with a cool Ovi officer at MWC: He told me that the way the search engine is handled is intentional and will not be changed.

After 7 days of its publication, my app is finally in the "new applications" category. A few hours ago it wasn't listed.

Yesterday the trial version of the same app was published, and today it appears as "new" in the store - nice.
So the problem I posted here seems to be fixed.
