NFC on WP8 Lumia 820 and 920

Does anybody know if NFC API will stay similar as with Symbian NFC phones (JSR 257, QT Mobility ...)

It will be whatever API's Microsoft exposes in the WP8 SDK, I suspect. I.e., nothing Nokia-specific (Nokia will do the hardware, and probably the device driver - unless that hardware is 3rd party -, I suppose, but not much more).

If NFC is also supported on the Win8/WinRT 8 tablets, look at the WinRT 8 tablet API documentation to see what it is in all likelihood then going to be on WP8, too.
