getting gps data with QGeoCoordinate vs ovimap

hello everybody,
i have an example which is getting gps data with QGeoCoordinates. But usially it is waiting for minutes to get data from gps. while the phone try to get gps data , i am checking ovimap . ovimap can find my location in a second .

is there anyone who knows What is thediferences between ovimap and QGeoCoordinates uses .
can i make my app fASTER.

you could try the logic on getting:
1. the last known position
2. position using network based positioning methods
3. position using A-GPS

if you do it in that order, you get the position really quicly, and more accurate one after a bit of time.
