    As title...

We heard that Nokia WP phones will have different features than the normal WP phones.

Is it possible to see JavaME and QT in the next nokia phones?

In theory, yes. (Technically possible, if Micosoft permits it.)

In practice, most probably not. I suspect that Microsoft will only allow things like changing the default font and such minor things, but they will not allow for adding a competing runtime/framework like Java or Qt.

Time will tell, but don't count on it (place your bets on the side that expects it not to happen).

J2ME is pretty much dead. Having it on smart phone has no value that is why Maemo, Android, iOS, WebOS miss this feature. Windows Phone 7 is not an exclusion.

Unfortunate4ly, game publishers like Jamba use it - so I dont see JU2ME going away.

As for WP7: the rumors about a native WP7 system do not die. But nobody knows when it will be made available to depth customers.

Well, people publish applications for Maemo 5 as well. Who knows why?
