NFC Attedance

Hi All,

I am very interested on NFC technology and I am trying to do my first project in NFC namely NFC attendance.

For this I having Contactless smart card, NFC reader and Writer and SDK.

Project Idea - Storing tag ID in smart card and reading that through the NFC reader.

I want to know how to start the project in which platform will be better like Java, .net & C.

Any better idea will be appreciated.

Nokia has a couple Series 40 devices with NFC support, thus they are programmable only in Java. For .Net, Nokia has no Windows Phone devices yet. For C++, the Nokia C7 is rumored to have NFC support, but there is no SDK for it, and it might be even disabled with the current firmware. See neighboring threads (about C7 and about Symbian^3 which is the software platform of C7).

Good to start with JSR 257 and S40 SDK. The same app should work with any other NFC enabled phone (or shoudl work with a little extra efforts)

Thanks. As of now I am not planning to use mobile phone for this project.

Only contactless card and that information from card reads by the NFC reader and backend application will do the work.

I need to know how to store the information in the contactless smart card. My card memory has 2 KB and 4KB.

So you are not using mobile phone, what is the NFC reader in this case? Is it some other device?
