Issues with fonts in Nokia Web Tools

We are currently facing some issues with the new Nokia Web tools 1.2.0 public beta.

Unfortunately the simulator seems to be displaying the text on our application in a Serif font, and not the Sans-serif font which displayed in the Nokia Web SDK 1.1.0 simulator. I.E., if I launch our app within the old tools it renders as expected and in 1.2.0 it does not.

Could you please provide some insight into what we are doing wrong, or is there an issue with the new simulator?

Hello,
* The current version of Series 40 web apps on target devices ignore font-face definitions and map all texts to the single available font.
* To add to this, the simulator doesnt unfortunately yet support the same font as the real devices and to add to that, the latest version of the simulator has (as pointed out by you) undergone a change in what the default font-face is

In short:

* Always test on real devices as the appearance in the simulator is not 100% the same
